Kaleida Health seeks an experienced RN for the Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. The role covers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a bi-weekly 72-hour schedule and onsite work arrangement.
Responsibilities include assessing patient responses, administering prescribed regimens, and delivering health teaching and counseling in accordance with NYS and Kaleida policies. NYS RN license and BLS are required; chemotherapy certification within 30 days is expected.

Assesses and treats human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive or restorative of life and well-being. Executes medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician, dentist or other licensed health care provider legally authorized under the NYS Education Department and in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations. Adheres to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.
Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. Inpatient Chemotherapy Unit - Adult site - must obtain Chemotherapy Administration Certification through ONS within 30 days of taking the position.
