Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL is seeking a Monitor Technician for the night shift. You will continuously monitor telemetry, interpret EKG rhythms, and promptly report changes to nursing staff to support patient safety and care quality.

The role requires completion of a telemetry/EKG course during orientation and 0–2 years of clerical or clinical experience. Strong communication and equipment troubleshooting skills are essential for success.

0-2 years of clerical and/or clinical experience in a medical setting required

Responsibilities

Continuously observes and interprets patient telemetry monitors, recording rhythm strips at established intervals.
Identifies rhythm changes and notifies nurse or licensed personnel promptly.
Maintains effective communication with peers, staff, physicians, and leaders for care coordination.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues with monitoring equipment and escalates as needed.
Organizes equipment tracking and ensures proper configuration for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
