Job summary

Glenwood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Telemetry RN to direct, plan, and organize nursing activities on the Telemetry unit with a focus on patient, physician and staff needs. The RN supports medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Louisiana nursing license, and BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS or other certifications due within 90 days. Telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Nursing License in good standing.
• BLS is required within 30 days of the hire date.
• All other certifications are due within 90 days of the hire date, i.e., ACLS.
• Previous telemetry nursing experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and organize nursing activities on the Telemetry unit.
• Focus on patient, physician, and staff needs under Medical Staff direction.
