Formación

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for cardiac patients in a telemetry setting. Monitor patients continuously for cardiac changes, administer medications, and perform ongoing assessments to identify and respond promptly to changes in condition.

Key Duties

• Deliver nursing care using continuous cardiac monitoring and clinical judgment
• Administer medications and ensure safe, accurate treatment
• Assess patients, recognize changes, and act promptly in coordination with the care team
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, recovery, and care instructions
• Document patient care and clinical observations thoroughly in the EHR

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with the ability to support cardiac telemetry patients
• Strong assessment skills and attention to detail for monitoring and medication administration
• Effective teamwork and communication with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
• Patient-focused approach and ability to educate patients and families
• Proficiency with EHR documentation and clinical record accuracy
