Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Lake Norman Telemetry/Progressive Care unit. The role is full-time and involves 7p-7a shifts (36 hours/week) with pay range $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

The nurse will deliver patient care, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires BSN preferred, board-approved nursing education, and active RN license with privileges in the appropriate state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and quality.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
