Job summary

Sovah Health - Danville, part of Lifepoint Health, offers a Registered Nurse Telemetry/PCU night role in person. The blended unit includes telemetry and progressive care with 36 beds and nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 and 1:4, respectively.

Expect 7P–7A shifts with every other weekend and an opportunity to grow within a high‑acuity environment. We seek an RN with VA or compact license and an associate degree in nursing; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN VA license or Compact state license required
• Associate degree in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• ACLS within 6 months preferred
• BLS required at hire

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments
• Documents patient care and monitors condition; communicates with care team, physician, patient, and family
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Coordinates patient care across transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances
• Advocates for physical and emotional well‑being of patients
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education
