Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician (Telemetry) to join our collaborative nursing team. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, monitor patient conditions, and assist with daily needs such as vital signs and mobility to help restore comfort and dignity for patients.

You will participate in a safety-focused, patient-centered environment with emphasis on teamwork, infection control, and high-quality care delivery as part of the HCA

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
