Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso seeks a Patient Care Technician Telemetry to support Registered Nurses and the nursing team in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients. You will assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care while helping monitor patients under supervision to ensure comfort and timely care.

You will contribute to a healing environment, collaborate with the care team, and help uphold safety and quality standards in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
