Qualifications

• Education/degree recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for federal employment.
• If using foreign education, submit a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with transcript for credit.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments to record electrocardiograms for continuous heart monitoring.
• Ensure supplies are stocked (paper strips, batteries, telemetry boxes, etc.).
• Document dysrhythmias and telemetry data in the medical records.
• Provide direct care, assist with treatments, and reprocess reusable medical equipment.
• Monitor patient intake/output and observe changes in residents' condition.
• Administer basic life support when needed and maintain a safe environment.
