Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a part-time day shift on 4H, a telemetry unit focused on post-op cardiac and vascular patients. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision and assist with examinations, treatments, and routine nursing tasks.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification (or first-year nursing program with clinicals), and BLS within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification is required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program with clinical validation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures.
• Performs routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in examination, treatment, and care of patients.
