Job summary

The Clinical Nurse I (CN I) at UMMS in downtown Baltimore is designed for new graduates or nurses with less than 12 months of clinical experience. Qualifications

• Maryland RN licensure or eligibility required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN).
• Must pass NCLEX within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification required; specialty life support certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications safely and ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards.
