The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a compassionate Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nurse for our 30-bed unit in the United States. The role covers adult med-surg and telemetry patients, with focus on safety, accurate monitoring, and thorough Epic documentation.

Day shift hours are 7a-7p, 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend, in a collaborative healthcare team setting. The ideal candidate will have telemetry proficiency, strong clinical assessment, and effective communication.

Formación

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct medical-surgical and telemetry patient care.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and assess patient condition.
• Document thoroughly in Epic and communicate with care team.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
