Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, seeks a Nurse Assistant for the MG3 Telemetry unit on a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7:30am). The role provides direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance and assists with room preparation and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will meet education requirements, hold BLS, and be ready to contribute to compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy telemetry environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• 1 year of relevant experience or EMT certification considered in lieu.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance.
• Obtains supplies to prep patient rooms for admission and discharge.
• Assists with feeding and tracks intake/output.
• Performs specimen collection including urine, stool, and Foley as ordered.
• Applies heat/cold packs and basic orthopedic devices as directed.
• Engages in hourly rounds to enhance safety and comfort.
• Seeks assistance from the Nurse Manager for conflicts.
