Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Boston is seeking a Registered Nurse for 6 South, a 37-bed med/telemetry teaching unit. The schedule is 36 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday rotation, and shifts may be 9 or 12 hours depending on department needs.

You will plan and provide patient care for a diverse adult population, using Telemetry, Vocera and Epic, while upholding the Patient and Family Centered Care Model.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and set priorities.
• Adherence to I.C.A.R.E. standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Demonstrate initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs.
• Effectively manage patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care; report to nurse manager.
