Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred: Prior monitor tech experience.
• Medical terminology helpful.
• Fluency in English.

• Good organizational and follow-through skills.
• Ability to multitask and tolerate interruptions.
• Must be able to work in a high-stress area.

Responsibilities

• Continuous surveillance and interpretation of monitor and telemetry tracings.
• Reporting from the telemetry central console.

Education

High School (or GED equivalent)

Completion of the telemetry/cardiac monitoring course
