Job summary

Kpc Global Medical Centers Inc. in Orange, CA is seeking a Monitor Technician/Unit Secretary ICU Per Diem to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry team. This role combines clerical duties with patient monitoring responsibilities.

You will assist nurses, monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms of telemetry patients, maintain documentation and ensure confidentiality. ABM/MAB/CPI certification required within 60 days of hire; BCLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an EKG/Dysrhythmia course or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the nursing unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetry.
• Support nursing staff with timely communication and documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
