Midland Health is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician responsible for monitoring patient cardiac monitors and notifying medical staff of any abnormalities. The position requires strong monitoring skills and the ability to manage telemetry equipment. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, with an associate's degree preferred, demonstrating both analytical and communication skills.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides nurse/clinician with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythm. Monitors heart rhythm patterns to detect, record, and report normal/abnormal heart patterns, normal/abnormal ECG interval measurements and proper/improper pacemaker or implantable defibrillator function utilizing telemetry equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
