Job summary

Qualifications

• Surveillance and interpretation of cardiac rhythms via telemetry monitoring.
• Experience with telemetry equipment and patient assignment is a plus.
• BLS certification is required or must pass telemetry exam within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with telemetry monitoring of patients as requested by hospital departments.
• Place leads, change batteries, and assign equipment to patients.
• Ensure telemetry equipment and software are programmed with correct patient and staff data.
• Communicate rhythm changes to staff within required timelines.
• Complete cardiac rhythm interpretations for assigned patients.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and restock supplies.
