Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a Monitor Technician to observe telemetry, document findings, and alert nursing staff to abnormalities. You will ensure alarms are set and functioning, assist with charting, and support department quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Monitor tech experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English
• Proficiency in the English language and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Observe monitors, document normal and abnormal EKG patterns and promptly notify nursing staff
• Maintain monitor alarms per policy and troubleshoot as needed
• Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality standards
