Encino Hospital Medical Center in Encino, CA is seeking a Monitor Tech to join our nights shift. This unlicensed role monitors cardiac rhythms, assists the nursing team, and transcribes orders when needed.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required
• ASCP certification, or equivalent, required within one year of employment
• Associates Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or completion of coursework in a program for MLT
• 1 year of hospital laboratory work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribes physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system.
• Prepares and compiles records in Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Able to assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties as long as not distracting from dysrhythmia monitoring.
