Description

The Telemetry Monitor Technician provides accurate cardiac rhythm surveillance through continuous monitoring of adult telemetry patients. Follows a standard procedure for rhythm observation and documentation which contributes to positive patient outcomes for cardiac monitored patients.

Schedule: 7pm-7am (36 hours per week)

Requirements

  1. High school diploma required.
  2. Listing as a CNA in North Carolina or previous monitor technician experience preferred.
  3. BLS required.
  4. Successful completion of an approved EKG/dysrhythmia course within the first 2 weeks of hire; must pass dysrhythmia test.
  5. Secretarial/clerical experience preferred with knowledge of medical terminology.
  6. Basic computer skills required.
  7. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  8. Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
  9. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
