AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado seeks a Monitor Technician to support telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced hospital unit. You will observe ECG patterns, document findings, and alert nursing staff to changes, ensuring alarms are active and accurate.

Ideal candidates have basic arrhythmia knowledge, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach. This part-time role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and adherence to hospital safety standards.

Qualifications

• Monitor technician experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician program.
• Must read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Basic knowledge of EKG/arrhythmia identification and hospital practices.

Responsibilities

• Observe monitors, document normal and abnormal EKG patterns, and notify staff of changes.
• Maintain alarms per policy and troubleshoot as needed.
• Document performance improvement activities and support quality standards.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and upgrade skills, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure clean work environment and proper sanitization of equipment.
