Job summary

Singing River Health System at Singing River Gulfport Hospital is seeking a Monitor Technician to assist in patient care by monitoring cardiac telemetry, identifying rhythms, and communicating with nursing staff. The role requires adherence to hospital procedures and staying current with clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities include recognizing arrhythmias, reporting changes to the charge nurse, and supporting a safe telemetry environment. Shift runs 7:00am–7:00pm at the Gulfport campus.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent; basic EKG course and rhythm recognition desirable.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
• 2 years medical clinical operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients on cardiac telemetry units; identify rhythms, changes, and dysrhythmias.
• Maintain communication with nursing; report to the charge nurse.
