Aufgaben

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others.
• Initiates electro cardio graphic monitoring when a physician’s order is received and validated.
• Maintains continuous surveillance of EKG wave forms, with notification of responsible nursing personnel for dysrhythmia.
• Discontinues telemetry when ordered.
• Performs unit support duties as assigned, including answering the telephone and responding to patient/family requests.
• Utilizes knowledge of electro cardio graphic monitoring in the continuous surveillance of telemetry patients.
• Utilizes computer system accurately, entering required data for telemetry monitoring.
• Monitors equipment for optimum effectiveness, reporting issues to supervisor.
• Assists with the orientation of new employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
