Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support at the nurse’s station, greet visitors and respond to patient calls.
• Monitor cardiac monitors and notify the RN of changes in rhythm per policy.
• Manage ordering, stocking and inventory of supplies; maintain unit supply rooms.
• Triages incoming phone calls and logs communications.
• Maintain patient records and ensure charts are current and compliant.
