You will set up telemetry equipment, monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, and assist with rapid response under pressure, contributing to patient safety and timely intervention. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly

Qualifications

• Monitors patient cardiac rhythms and alarms, maintaining accuracy in data.
• Identifies rhythm changes and alerts nursing staff promptly.
• Performs basic EKG and telemetry setup per unit protocol.

Responsabilités

• Continuous observation of monitored EKG patterns and pulse oximetry as ordered.
• Troubleshoots telemetry equipment and ensures monitors function properly.
• Identifies changes and notifies RN; responds to emergencies.
