Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Telemetry Technician/Monitor Technician
• Active Telemetry Technician certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Dysrhythmia Course

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced ECG monitoring and assess patient status through ECG strip analysis and rhythm interpretation
• Identify and respond to potentially life-threatening rhythm changes and initiate codes when needed
• Perform continuous EKG monitoring with accurate interpretation and proper electrode placement, troubleshooting alarms
• Enter and verify orders in the computer system and retrieve lab results for clinical review
