Job summary

Mercy is seeking an LPN to join the Med Surg/Tele Innovation Unit. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision, coordinate with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

Shifts are 12 hours, with day and night options, including weekend rotations. New grads and experienced LPNs are welcome, with sign-on and relocation incentives mentioned in the posting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Must obtain and maintain an LPN license in the hiring state and meet Board requirements within 90 days.
• LPN-IV Certification issued by Missouri State Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
• Deliver care on a Med Surg/Tele unit with telemetry monitoring and respond to patient needs during 12-hour shifts.
