Job summary

RTX is seeking junior engineers for the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) team to help design Telemetry and Flight Termination Systems. You will work on analog and mixed-signal electronics, PCB-level design, and documentation to verify performance against program requirements.

Ideal candidates have at least a bachelor degree in STEM and 0-2 years experience in electronics design, with familiarity in MATLAB or similar tools. U.S.-based role with relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience OR an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with electronics design focused on systems/subsystems.
• Experience creating electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, A/D converters).
• Experience using MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed-signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in designing electronics at subsystem or PCB level.
• Guide PCB development from requirements to initial integration testing.
• Serve as the Responsible Engineering Authority for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Prepare analyses and documentation confirming compliance with requirements.
