Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Telemetry units on a full-time schedule from 7A to 7P. Tele 4 is a 10-bed telemetry unit and Tele 3 is a 22-bed telemetry unit handling general medical-surgical and telemetry patients.

The CNA provides direct patient care under RN supervision, with emphasis on empathy, dignity, and teamwork. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities, documenting intake/output, and supporting lab

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care per scope of practice.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene activities and activities of daily living.
• Record patient intake and output; collect, label and transport specimens for lab analysis.
