Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Telemetry Department. The CNA assists with daily living activities and basic patient care under the direction of the RN, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care for non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
