Job summary

Prime Healthcare's St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO seeks a Telemetry CNA to monitor patients on continuous cardiac monitoring. This role supports the nursing team, measures vital signs, and ensures telemetry leads are properly placed.

The position features 12-hour shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm, full-time employment, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance along with paid time off and 401K. CNA certification and BLS are required or obtainable per policy.

Qualifications

• CNA certificate required at hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum six months of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and document vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Observe patients for changes and report findings to the RN.
• Monitor cardiac monitors and report irregularities to staff.
• Ensure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning.
• Serve as liaison between patients and the nursing team.
