Prime Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry CNA to provide essential support to patients requiring continuous monitoring. This per diem position involves measuring vital signs, observing patient conditions, and communicating effectively with the nursing team. Ideal candidates will possess a current CNA certificate and BLS certification, along with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
We are seeking a Telemetry CNA, sometimes referred to as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The Certified Nursing Assistant in our telemetry unit plays an important role in the care of patients who require continuous monitoring of their heart and vital signs. Our Telemetry units typically care for patients with cardiac conditions, post-surgical needs, or other medical issues requiring close monitoring. Our CNA’s provide essential support to patients under close cardiac monitoring. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
1. Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
