In this leadership role you will serve as the clinical resource and operational leader for the telemetry department, coordinate staffing assignments, oversee workflows, mentor nursing staff, and uphold nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted California RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Charge or Lead RN in acute hospital setting.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• Leadership, delegation and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry Charge Nurse provides clinical and operational leadership for the assigned shift, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing practice standards.
• This role coordinates staffing assignments, oversees unit workflow, supports patient care delivery, and serves as a mentor and clinical resource to nursing staff.
• Direct patient care responsibilities while directing shift operations and facilitating communication across disciplines.
