Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician to join the centralized telemetry team. The role focuses on continuous cardiac and oxygen saturation monitoring across multiple Methodist facilities from the Omaha campus, with two 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend.

You will respond to alarms, document findings, and maintain accurate EMR entries while collaborating with the patient care team.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Minimum one year of cardiac monitoring experience with competency in rhythm interpretation or completion of Cardiac Monitor Specialist orientation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms and document findings.
• Notify nursing and relevant staff of rhythm changes and events.
• Document patient information in the EMR and keep station logs updated.
• Monitor patients continuously and ensure alarm settings are appropriate.
• Perform ECGs and place monitors as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment inventory.
• Schedule coverage and remain flexible for shifts and weekends.
