Qualifications

• Maintains continuous telemetry monitoring and reports rhythm changes.
• Supports accurate nursing documentation per policy and procedures.
• Collaborates with the health-care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Recognizes patients and families, providing safe, compassionate, and coordinated care honoring preferences and cultural beliefs.
• Minimizes risk of harm by following established nursing practices and protocols.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decisions.
• Continuously monitors patients’ cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry, interpreting variations for the RN.
• Collects data and documents rhythms and significant events during shifts.
• Completes required reporting.
• Maintains equipment and assists with application, return, and troubleshooting; escalates per procedures.
