Zealthy is seeking a full-time Full Stack Developer in New York, NY. This in-person engineering manager role combines hands-on coding with people leadership to scale a telemedicine platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture, and collaborate with product, design, and QA. Proficiency in Typescript, Javascript, React; experience at an early-stage healthcare startup preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience guiding engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Javascript and React for web platforms.
• Experience at an early-stage startup, preferably in healthcare.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead architectural discussions.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding as well as managing other engineers.
• Report to CEO and collaborate with product, design and QA.
• Scale the team from 5 to 10+ full-stack engineers.
• Tune performance of the telemedicine platform and improve user experience.
• Lead architectural decisions for platform development.
• Mentor and develop engineers to reach higher levels of excellence.
• Stay updated on telemedicine tech trends to stay competitive.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
• Identify security risks and mitigate them.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality.
