Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Telemedicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver care remotely to elderly patients. You will perform exams, document histories, and contribute to care plans with on-call physicians.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered telemedicine in a home-based or SNF setting. Requirements include NP licensure, CA eligibility, geriatric or primary care experience, and DEA/BCLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• CNP license valid in CA or equivalent.
• NP program graduate or NP certification by a national association.
• Geriatric or primary care experience in clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
• Telemedicine experience is a plus.
• Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and treat.
• Good interpersonal skills with the elderly.
• BCLS or ACLS certification required.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.

Compensation : $60.00 - $70.00 per hour or $30.00 - $35.00 per patient.

**No In-Person Visits Required.

We are currently searching for a talented Telemedicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Telemedicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.

Telemedicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Recording patients’ medical histories and symptoms.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment, as needed.
• Diagnosing health issues and sharing it with the physician on call.

Telemedicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Requirements

• CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License (A Nurse Practitioner is certified under section 6910 of the California State Education Law and licensed as a Registered Nurse.)
• Graduate of a state registered Nurse Practitioner Program OR is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a National Association.
• Primary Care or Geriatric experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
• Telemedicine experience is a plus.
• Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatments.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• DEA required.

General Information

• Compensation : $75.00-$85.00 per hour or $35.00 - $40.00 per patient.
• 12 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule: 9:00AM - 5:00PM (as needed to start, plenty of growth).
