The MedServ Group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in New York for part‑time coverage with competitive compensation. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality geriatric care to our patients.

You will perform physical exams, document histories, develop care plans, order and analyze diagnostic tests, and consult with the physician on call. Typical hours are 9 AM–5 PM, 7–8 hours per day, with 20–25 patients per visit; malpractice insurance is covered.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed NP in New York with NYS credentials.
• Graduate of an NP program or NP certification.
• Experience in primary care or geriatric settings.
• BCLS/ACLS and DEA certification required.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Part Time Compensation: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour or $30.00 - $40.00 per patient.

We are currently searching for a talented Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment, as needed.
• Diagnosing health issues and sharing it with the physician on call.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Requirements

• CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License (A Nurse Practitioner is certified under section 6910 of the New York State Education Law and licensed as a Registered Nurse.)
• Graduate of a state registered Nurse Practitioner Program OR is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a National Association.
• Primary Care or Geriatric experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
• Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatments.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• DEA required.

General Information

• Part Time Compensation: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour or $30.00 - $40.00 per patient.
• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule: typically, 9AM - 5PM.
• 20-25 patients per visit.
