The position offers a flexible four-day schedule with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and potential weekend options. Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $199,000 per year, with benefits including health insurance and 401(k).

Eligibility for NY Medicaid is required. The physician will review histories, answer questions via telemedicine, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NY medical license.
• Active NY Medicaid number required (can start immediately).
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Full-time availability in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
• Ask patients focused questions to ensure appropriate care.
• Create treatment plans for non-life-threatening conditions.
• Order diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnoses.
• Review test results and explain them to patients.
• Keep accurate records of patient details, medical history and medications.
• Advise patients on diet and exercise to improve health.
• Help patients manage chronic health conditions.
• Record accurate and timely notes in the EMR.
• Complete all forms and records before end of shift per standards.
