QuickMD is seeking dedicated physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual team. All work is online, with visits scheduled across a flexible weekly framework and no office overhead.

Physicians deliver high-quality telemedicine care across diverse patients, focusing on accessibility and compassionate care. Compensation is per completed consult on a 1099 basis, with 15–20 hours per week and a clear path to higher earnings as visits shorten.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).
• DEA registration and CSL, where required.
• Ability to work across at least four days per week with schedules submitted one week in advance

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices

Compensation & Work Hours

Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099, commission-based) — $105/hour at our standard 20-minute visit length, with effective pay increasing up to $210/hour as physicians transition to shorter visit times. Our top 10% of physicians earn $260K+ annually. This role is best suited to physicians who can commit 15–20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX), with willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Contractual Details

Physicians are engaged as independent contractors (1099); Form 1099 is issued annually. Required training, including buprenorphine/MOUD training where applicable, is completed as part of onboarding.
