Job Description

We are seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least one state to join our team. Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role offers an opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine remotely. While most services are fully virtual, in-person hybrid opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on their proper usage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid addiction).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay updated with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least one U.S. state, with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided and costs covered).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings preferred.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours per week, preferably over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact.
• At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if required.

All physicians must complete applicable training, including buprenorphine training if applicable. Malpractice insurance is provided (3 million/1 million coverage). 1099 tax form provided at year-end.
