Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license.
• Active DEA license/registration.
• Experience in pain management and/or prescribing pain medications preferred.
• Experience managing acute or chronic pain patients preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.
• Comfortable providing patient care through telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telemedicine evaluations and assessments of patients with acute and chronic pain.
• Prescribe, manage, and refill pain medications as clinically appropriate and within applicable regulations.
• Develop and adjust individualized pain management and medication treatment plans based on patient response.
• Monitor medication effectiveness, adherence, side effects, and potential risks.
• Document assessments, diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment plans, and follow-up care; collaborate with physicians as needed.
