Job summary

Vetster, Inc. is seeking licensed veterinarians in the US to join our remote telemedicine platform as independent contractors.

You’ll conduct virtual appointments, provide clinical assessments, triage, and document care within your legal scope, delivering care with compassion and clarity. This role offers a flexible schedule and the ability to see as many or as few patients as you choose, with compensation per appointment and additional earnings programs, while supporting care for a wide range

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the US in good standing
• Licensed in multiple states is a plus
• Experience treating exotic species is a strong asset
• Passionate about telemedicine and expanding access to care

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual video appointments with pet owners through the Vetster platform
• Provide thorough clinical assessments, triage guidance, and treatment recommendations within your scope of practice and applicable regulations
• Complete accurate and timely medical records for each appointment within the platform
• Deliver an exceptional client experience — communicating clearly, compassionately, and professionally
• Adhere to Vetster's standards of care and platform policies
• Maintain compliance with your provincial licensing requirements

Vetster is seeking Veterinarians licensed and in good standing in DC to join our platform and provide virtual care on the side. This is an exciting opportunity to join our platform and a growing network of veterinarians at the forefront of telemedicine. As a flexible, independent contractor, you’ll have the freedom to create your own schedule and work as much or as little as you’d like. Experience with exotic species (small mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates) is a strong asset and a plus, helping us service our public partnership with PetSmart, but all levels are welcome, including vets who primarily see cats and dogs.

What You’ll Do

You’re paid per appointment with additional supplementary earnings programs designed to reflect the flexible, on-your-own-schedule nature of the work.

What You Bring

• You are a DVM/VMD licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the US in good standing, within the highlighted state
• Bonus points if you are licensed in multiple states.
• You have experience treating some or all of the following exotic species: guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rabbits, lizards, turtles, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, crabs, and birds
• You are passionate about Telemedicine with a genuine belief in the power of digital health to expand access to care
