Job summary

Allara is seeking a Registered Dietitian to deliver expert nutrition care to women across the U.S. in a fully remote role. You will analyze intake data, provide video-based counseling, and collaborate with APRNs and physicians to manage patient care.

You’ll leverage evidence-based practice, EMR tools, and telehealth platforms to support patients with conditions like PCOS and metabolic health concerns. A flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CDR-registered dietitian with current certification.
• 1 year experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions preferred.
• Ability to function autonomously with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with compassion and clarity.
• Experience building rapport with patients in virtual care settings.
• Active, unrestricted professional license in at least one U.S. state.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intake assessments including medical history, dietary habits, and labs.
• Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling sessions via video.
• Utilize nutrition training materials to ensure consistent care while tailoring to patient needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and timely responses to inquiries and messages.
• Engage in charting and administrative tasks as needed.

Your Impact

• Analyze intake assessments, including medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more.
• Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions via video, including offering general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as needed and related to nutrition care.
• Employ Allara’s provided nutrition training and educational materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs.
• Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Responsibilities also include charting, addressing patient inquiries, and responding to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: 1-year experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly desired).
• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.
