Job summary

Allara is hiring Registered Dietitians to deliver exceptional nutrition care to women underserved in the U.S. via telehealth, with collaboration from APRNs and MDs. This fully remote role emphasizes autonomy, evidence-based practice, and diverse training materials.

Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the CDR.
• 1-year experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions.
• Autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Natural ability to build trust in a virtual setting.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Comfortable with multiple digital platforms including EMR, Gmail, Calendar, Zoom.
• Telehealth experience is a plus.
• Active, unrestricted license in at least one US state.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intake assessments, including medical history, dietary habits, and labs.
• Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling via video, including movement, sleep, or stress advice.
• Use provided nutrition training and materials for consistent care.
• Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in medical management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Charting, respond to inquiries, and address administrative tasks promptly.

Your Impact

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Responsibilities also include charting, addressing patient inquiries, and responding to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: 1-year experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly desired).
• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.
