This remote opening is in the Developing Practice pathway, offering structured training, coaching, and growth toward independent practice. The starting base salary is $60,000–$66,000 per year with benefits.

The opportunity

Sensibly Sprouted is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide one-on‑one outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) by telehealth. You’ll get to know patients over time, combining nutrition assessment, practical care plans, counseling, and follow-up to help them make lasting changes.

This opening is in our Developing Practice pathway. You’ll deliver care within a defined scope while building the clinical and patient‑management skills needed for independent practice. Structured training, coaching, case review, and feedback support that growth. The role may suit a newly credentialed dietitian or an experienced RD moving into longitudinal outpatient MNT.

What you’ll do

• Provide virtual nutrition counseling and Medical Nutrition Therapy within your clinical scope.
• Assess patient needs, develop evidence‑based care plans, and follow progress across ongoing visits.
• Adapt your counseling to each patient’s goals, readiness, and barriers to change.
• Build an active caseload as your skills develop, while keeping accurate records and meeting clinical and scheduling standards.
• Participate in training and case review, apply feedback, and expand your treatment breadth and independence.

What you’ll bring

• A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Applicable state licensure, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.
• Foundational clinical reasoning and an interest in outpatient nutrition care.
• Clear communication, dependable follow‑through, and a willingness to learn from coaching.

Prior telehealth or outpatient experience can strengthen your application, but total years of dietetics experience do not determine fit for this pathway.

Your starting base salary is set when you join Developing Practice; advancement to Primary Practice brings an increase into that role’s salary range.
