Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Gainesville, FL is seeking an experienced psychiatrist to join as an Independent Contractor in an outpatient clinical setting. The role includes evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and psychotherapy with flexibility for telehealth and in-person visits.

Candidates must be MD/DO, board eligible or board certified, and hold an active Florida license or be in the process.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board eligible or board certified psychiatrist.
• Active Florida license or in process.
• Candidates in final year of residency can apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about mental health conditions and strategies.
• Document services in compliance with company policies.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education.
