Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering care across 44 states. We seek physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual team.

Work at least 15 hours per week as an independent contractor, with scheduling four days per week, and earn compensation per completed consult ($35) with earnings up to $210/hour as visit times shorten. This role emphasizes flexibility, minimal admin, and access to a growing addiction treatment program and telehealth services.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX) and willingness to obtain more (costs covered)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices

Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099, commission-based) — $105/hour at our standard 20-minute visit length, with effective pay increasing up to $210/hour as physicians transition to shorter visit times. Our top 10% of physicians earn $260K+ annually . This role is best suited to physicians who can commit 15–20 hours per week .

Job Description

We're seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our team. Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role offers the opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine outside the constraints of a traditional practice. All work is fully virtual.

• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly , across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)

Physicians are engaged as independent contractors (1099); Form 1099 is issued annually. Required training, including buprenorphine/MOUD training where applicable, is completed as part of onboarding.
