Job description

The Telehealth Nurse provides medical advice and support to patients over the phone or via video conferencing. The Telehealth Nurse assesses patients, forms diagnoses, develops care plans, and provides direct patient care, including medication management. The Telehealth Nurse also provides patient education, referral services, and follow-up care. The Telehealth Nurse must be knowledgeable in the use of telemedicine technologies and understand the complexities of providing healthcare in remote settings. The Telehealth Nurse must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

1. Provide telehealth nursing services to patients via phone, video, and other digital media
2. Answer patient inquiries, provide health education and advice, and assess patient needs
3. Refer patients to appropriate health professionals and follow up on healthcare services
4. Develop and implement patient care plans
5. Document patient care services in medical records and reports
6. Stay up-to-date on changes in the healthcare industry and relevant regulations and protocols
7. Assess patient needs remotely
8. Maintain excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
9. Possess knowledge of medical terminology and approved protocols
10. Be proficient with electronic medical records and home monitoring systems
11. Provide patient and family education
12. Hold a valid Registered Nurse license
13. Have experience with telehealth systems

Part-Time (minimum 4 hours per day)

Pay Rate: $35.00 US
